Staff Engineer, Quality Engineering

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineering for a 12-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities

Negotiate terms, discounts, and contracts with suppliers for technical equipment and custom products

Maintain understanding of technology trends, market forces, and supplier technology road maps

Review purchase orders and contracts for compliance, addressing defects and delivery issues with suppliers

Required Qualifications

Advanced college degree or equivalent experience

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a specialized field

Experience in the medical device industry is preferred

Deep expertise in supplier quality engineering or related discipline

Ability to perform in-depth analysis and develop innovative solutions
