Staff ML Research Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff ML Research Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and scale ML algorithms based on scientific research into robust scientific code

Lead the ideation, benchmarking, and execution of complex datasets and ML models

Implement software and hardware optimizations for ML pipelines in distributed cloud GPU environments

Required Qualifications

MSc (PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related quantitative field

5+ years of industry experience in developing productionized software

Experience training and optimizing large-scale ML pipelines on distributed cloud GPUs

Familiarity with agentic coding tools

Experience supporting models in external-facing products
