Staff Platform Engineer – Voice AI (Healthcare) – Up to $350K Base

You're joining a ~35 person company that's already doing $10M+ in revenue and grew roughly 10x in under a year. They're using voice AI to replace one of the biggest cost centers in healthcare, and the ROI for their customers is obvious and immediate. The problem is real, the solution is working, and now they need the infrastructure to match the ambition.

As a Staff Platform Engineer, you're building and scaling the systems that sit underneath real-time, agentic voice workflows. These aren't internal tools or experimental projects. They're in production, replacing actual human labor at scale. You'll be working across distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and API-driven architecture to keep everything running as the company scales hard and fast.

The team is small and the bar is high. Engineers here have come from Google, Slack, and Cohere. The CTO came from Amazon. There's very little hand-holding, and that's the point. You'll have real ownership over how the platform evolves, and your decisions will have a direct impact on the product and the customers using it every day.

This is the kind of role where you're not one of hundreds of engineers. You're shaping the system.

You'll need strong backend fundamentals in Python, solid experience building and scaling distributed systems, and hands-on cloud and infrastructure experience, ideally with GCP. You think in terms of ownership, not tickets.
