About the job

Main missions

Your responsibilities include:

• Investigation of image generation models, both local and API-based, and their capabilities with aerial images

a. Compilation of a list of the latest models, including their strengths and the technologies used

b. Hands-on experimentation with 2-4 of these models, 1-2 locally and 1-2 via API, for generic image generation

c. Deployment of these models in the domain of aerial imagery

• Investigation of techniques for controlling generation models beyond text input

a. Literature review

b. Implementation of a method

c. Testing on our specific use cases

• Collaboration with other team researchers, and ensuring that developments are useful and applicable for them

Expected skills & experience

We are looking for someone with the following skills:

Technical skills

• Strong background in AI, particularly in generative image AI

• Good mathematical understanding

• Comfortable implementing AI solutions in Python, using PyTorch and JAX

• Proficient with the use of programming agents

Soft skills / transversal skills

• Autonomy and proactive idea proposal

• Knowing when to ask for help

• Good oral and written communication skills
