Job Description

The Summer Internship Program is offered in below two streams. Candidates interested in either stream are welcome to apply.

Assist in daily market risk monitoring, including the calculation of risk indicators, report preparation, and the investigation of exceptions.

Participate in designing, developing, and implementing quantitative models for Market Risk and Economic Capital.

Participate in the validation and maintenance of risk models, supporting the operation and optimization of models (VaR, Expected Shortfall, Stress Testing etc.).

Collect, organize, and analyze market data to support risk measurement, analysis and report preparation.

Assist in updating and archiving risk policies, procedures, and documentation.

Support research and project-based tasks related to risk management.

Stream 2: Credit Risk

Support daily counterparty and credit risk management related tasks.

Support daily tasks of collateral management, including margin call management, MIS reporting and SIMM calculation and dispute resolution.

Support the counterparty risk measurement and reporting as well as stress test calculation.

High ethical standards with humility and diligence.

Current student from a domestic or overseas university, expected to graduate with a master’s degree or above between September 2026 and August 2027.

Financial Engineering, Mathematical Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science or other relevant majors preferred.

Fundamental knowledge of financial derivatives, market risk management, or financial products preferred.

Strong learning ability and quantitative analytical skills; knowledge of Python, SQL, or R is a plus.

Good understanding of financial statement and financial analysis.

Bilingual (English/Mandarin); detail-oriented with teamwork skills.
