Job Title: Supply Chain Risk Program Coordinator

Pay Rate: $82.09/hr
Location: Cupertino, CA (Onsite Tues/Wed/Thurs)
About the Role
This contractor will partner closely with a Global Supply Manager to support critical materials risk initiatives. This is a hands-on, supplier-facing role focused on driving risk mitigation strategies, engaging suppliers, and supporting program execution across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structured supplier engagements, including preparation, facilitation, and follow-up to drive risk mitigation actions
- Translate supplier self-assessment data into clear, actionable feedback and improvement plans
- Build and maintain tracking systems and program databases to monitor supplier risk and progress
- Support expansion of the program across additional suppliers
- Monitor geopolitical and commodity market trends impacting supply chain risk
- Partner with Engineering and Procurement on escalations related to material qualification and sourcing
- Contribute to executive-level reporting, summarizing program status and risk reduction efforts
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience engaging directly with suppliers and driving outcomes independently
- Strong interest in global events, trade policy, and commodity market dynamics
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and drive decisions
- Excellent written communication for supplier-facing and executive-level materials
- Proficiency in Excel and experience working with tracking tools or databases
Preferred Background
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or related operations
- Experience in supplier-facing or external stakeholder roles
- Exposure to raw materials, commodities, or global supply chain risk (nice to have)
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field
