As a Supplier Quality Engineer for Composites & Nacelles, you will lead supplier quality improvements by applying your expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving skills. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and managing supplier processes from qualification to ongoing improvements aligned with quality and business needs.
  • Conducting regular supplier audits and assessments ensuring adherence to GE process specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Leading root cause and corrective actions to minimize defects across products and processes.
  • Developing strategies for resource management and policy formulation within your area of responsibility.
  • Analyzing internal and external business challenges, recommending best practices to enhance products and services.
  • Utilizing analytical thinking to tackle complex tasks and problems related to operations, product management, and engineering.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders to adopt innovative solutions.
  • Traveling as needed, typically between 25% to 50%.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience (minimum 4 years in quality engineering with a high school diploma/GED).
  • At least 3 years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience with Nacelles and demonstrated expertise in manufacturing, statistical analysis, and customer quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven track record in problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with assembly, composites, or systems engineering.
  • Aerospace industry experience is highly desirable.

This position is remote, and relocation assistance is not provided. The base pay range for this role is between $100,000.00 - $120,000.00, subject to factors such as experience and education.
