Sustainable Investing Analyst, Investment Management

Overview
We are working with a leading global investment platform seeking a Sustainable Investing Analyst to join its London-based team. This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of investment, product, and client engagement, supporting the continued development and delivery of sustainable investment capabilities across public and private markets.
The role offers broad exposure across investment teams, client-facing functions, and senior stakeholders, with the opportunity to contribute to firmwide ESG strategy, product development, and external positioning.
The Role
You will work closely with investment professionals to integrate sustainability considerations into the investment process, including ESG analysis, stewardship, and company engagement.
You will also support the development of sustainable investment frameworks and solutions, while partnering with client-facing teams to articulate the firm's ESG capabilities to clients, consultants, and prospects.
Key Responsibilities
Sustainability Strategy & Product Development
- Collaborate with analysts and portfolio managers to embed sustainability considerations into investment processes
- Contribute to the development of ESG data frameworks, policies, and investment solutions
- Support the design and delivery of sustainable investment products across asset classes
- Build strong relationships across investment, product, legal, compliance, and operations teams
- Develop thought leadership on key ESG themes and market developments
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Articulate the firm's ESG approach to clients, consultants, and prospects
- Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and supporting materials
- Partner with client-facing teams to support fundraising and client servicing
- Work with clients to understand their sustainability objectives and help shape investment solutions
External Representation & Reporting
- Support the firm's external ESG profile through participation in industry initiatives and events
- Contribute to sustainability-related reporting at both firm and product level
- Assist with responses to regulatory consultations and industry developments
- Produce written content for external audiences, including thematic research and insights
Candidate Profile
- Experience within sustainable investing, ESG integration, or investment strategy
- Strong understanding of ESG themes and their application across asset classes
- Ability to translate complex investment and sustainability topics into clear, client-friendly messaging
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across investment, product, and client teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior audiences
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams
- Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
