About The Opportunity

We are partnering with a stable financial services organization seeking an experienced SVP of FP&A and Strategic Finance to lead enterprise financial planning, analytics, and finance transformation initiatives. This executive will serve as a key strategic partner to senior leadership, helping drive financial visibility, operational performance, and long-term growth across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in mortgage banking economics, advanced FP&A leadership experience, and a proven track record building scalable financial infrastructure within fast-paced, performance-driven environments. This is a highly visible opportunity to shape financial strategy, modernize reporting and analytics capabilities, and influence executive-level decision-making across the business.

Salary Range: $200,000 – $297,000 base salary plus executive bonus potential and comprehensive benefits package

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes across the organization
  • Develop and maintain dynamic driver-based financial models tied to mortgage banking operational metrics and profitability drivers
  • Perform scenario planning and financial analysis related to interest rates, loan origination volumes, margins, and overall business performance
  • Deliver executive-level financial insights and strategic recommendations to leadership teams and stakeholders
  • Prepare board-level reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and executive financial presentations
  • Partner with operational leaders across production, servicing, capital markets, and corporate functions to evaluate business performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Modernize FP&A processes through automation, enhanced reporting infrastructure, and scalable analytics solutions
  • Collaborate with technology and data teams to improve financial data quality, reporting accessibility, and enterprise analytics capabilities
  • Support financial analysis and strategic reporting initiatives associated with private equity ownership and long-term growth planning
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing FP&A and financial analytics team while establishing scalable best practices across the finance organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Strategic Finance leadership roles
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership and team management experience
  • Significant experience within mortgage banking, consumer lending, or financial services organizations
  • Strong understanding of mortgage banking economics, including servicing, production channels, capital markets, and profitability drivers
  • Demonstrated success building or transforming FP&A and financial analytics functions
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning expertise
  • Experience preparing executive reporting packages and board-level financial presentations
  • Familiarity with financial systems, business intelligence platforms, data environments, and reporting automation tools
  • Strong communication, executive presentation, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Experience working within private equity-backed organizations preferred
