Job Description
- Perform comprehensive credit assessments on new and existing counterparties, with an emphasis on hedge fund clients
- Monitor exposures and conduct ongoing counterparty risk analysis across prime financing activities
- Develop, set, and oversee risk limits aligned with portfolio and market dynamics
- Support and participate in the negotiation of credit terms and related legal documentation
- Review, challenge, and provide independent risk perspectives on business proposals
- Prepare analysis and respond to ad hoc requests from senior management, regulators, and internal audit teams

The Successful Applicant
- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
- 7+ years of experience in hedge fund credit risk, prime brokerage risk, or a closely related area
- Strong quantitative skills, including familiarity with financial instruments and pricing models (e.g., options, convertible securities, bonds)
- Working knowledge of risk modeling and exposure analytics
- Proficiency with data and analytical tools such as SQL and VBA or Python (use of LLMs/AI tools welcomed)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex risk concepts clearly
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI or advanced analytics to enhance risk management processes

The expected base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $170,000, depending on experience, skills, and location. Total compensation may also include discretionary bonuses, incentive programs, and a comprehensive benefits package.
