We’re Hiring: Principal Engineer
Play a key role in delivering mission‑critical digital medical solutions for the SAF. This 3‑year contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders, validate technical solutions, and uplift software quality across complex enterprise systems.

🧩 Key Responsibilities
Technical Solution Validation & Software Quality Assurance
- Work closely as part of the development team to validate proposed technical solutions for software development initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional and technical teams to ensure software quality by performing and supporting activities within the Software Quality Assurance and Testing Framework.
- Review solution designs, code quality, and implementation approaches to ensure alignment with project and organisational standards.
Project Planning & Delivery Support
- Contribute to project planning activities, including scope definition, timelines, dependencies, and technical risks.
- Support the Project Manager in ensuring timely and effective delivery of digital medical platforms.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Problem Solving
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, users, and technical teams to identify, analyse, and resolve complex system and integration challenges.
- Provide technical inputs and recommendations to support decision‑making across the project lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement & Technical Excellence
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development practices, testing processes, and system reliability.
- Assist in driving best practices across architecture, development, testing, and deployment activities.
✅ Who We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and application support.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with experience completing at least two end‑to‑end SDLC projects, preferably involving:Integration with other enterprise systems, and/orUse of AI augmentation tools for software development.
Technical Expertise
- Experience in Agile methodologies and implementation practices.
- Good foundational knowledge in the following technology domains: Database Technologies Web Application Technologies Integration Technologies Cybersecurity
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services
- Hands‑on experience with AI augmentation tools for full‑stack software development
- Experience in frontend design using Figma is an added advantage
