System Engineer

Role Overview

The JAMA Systems & Requirements Enablement Lead is responsible for advancing enterprise-wide adoption, governance, and optimization of JAMA to strengthen requirements management, engineering maturity, and execution under a new operating model.

This role ensures JAMA is effectively configured, integrated, governed, and consistently applied across programs to improve transparency, traceability, quality, and scalability. The individual will serve as the enterprise subject matter expert (SME) for JAMA while partnering cross-functionally with Systems Engineering, Quality, and Business Unit leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development, maturity, and governance of the enterprise JAMA instance.

• Establish structured user feedback intake and prioritization processes (e.g., via JIRA or similar tools)
• Develop deep expertise in JAMA configuration, administration, and best practices
• Partner with JAMA consultants (anticipated weekly engagement over one year)
• Configure and optimize JAMA to support the new operating model
• Test, troubleshoot, and maintain workflows
• Provide ongoing system administration and governance to ensure the instance remains curated, scalable, and effective
• Serve as the Enterprise JAMA Subject Matter Expert

Ensure JAMA integrates effectively within the broader engineering tool ecosystem.
