System Engineer - Banking and Financial industries

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and support middleware platforms, including Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat.

• Provide system administration and operational support for Windows and Linux servers

• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure stable operations

• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution

• Support system patching, upgrades, and security hardening

• Prepare and maintain system documentation and operational procedures

• Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams

• Participate in on-call support and maintenance activities when required

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT/ related field

• 5 years of experience in system support and infrastructure roles; candidates with less experience will also be considered

• Hands-on experience with Apache and Tomcat middleware administration

• Solid experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems

• Basic scripting or automation knowledge is an advantage.

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• Experience in banking or financial services is highly preferred.
