System Engineer | Data Platform, DataOps & RAG

In this role, you will help build, maintain, and improve platform solutions that support AI applications, data pipelines, and retrieval-based capabilities. You will also assist with automation, monitoring, deployment, testing, and integration work.

Key Responsibilities

Support and automate daily operations of the AI, Data, and RAG platforms.

Help develop and maintain platform services, including monitoring, logging, and deployment.

Build and integrate services with internal and external APIs / MCPs.

Support DataOps pipelines and RAG workflows.

Work with tools such as Airflow and Spark for data orchestration and processing.

Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve platform performance and scalability.

Carry out proof-of-concept and acceptance testing.

Work with Architects, Platform Engineers, Product Owners, AI Engineers, and Data Engineers to deliver solutions in a continuous delivery environment.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

At least 4 years of platform development experience.

Strong experience with Python, Bash, SQL, Docker, Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.

Experience delivering DataOps, AI platform, data platform, or RAG solutions in a large enterprise environment.

Knowledge of DataOps / MLOps.

Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or AliCloud is preferred.

Familiarity with monitoring tools, testing frameworks, vector databases, AI orchestration tools, and data lakehouse technologies is an advantage.

Good communication skills and a data-driven mindset.
