Systems Analyst - Finance & HR Systems - IT - 12-month contract

## About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic IT professional to join our Finance & HR Systems team as Systems Analyst. The successful candidate will play a key role in corporate systems support and implementation, in adherence with HKEX’s control and governance standards. You will manage end-to-end system changes following the HKEX System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Framework and ensure all deployments comply with HKEX's policies, procedures, audit controls, and documentation standards.

You will evaluate system fixes and enhancement proposals, including testing quality, impact assessment, and production deployment readiness. Coordinating security assessments for supporting systems, addressing security vulnerabilities and obtaining necessary Information Security endorsement will be part of your remit. Monitoring and assessing technology risks to ensure robust controls are in place to protect system integrity and sensitive data is expected.

You will collaborate closely with business users, vendors and various IT teams to support ongoing system improvements, system migration and infrastructure setup activities. Experience conducting solution assessments, managing and conducting testing cycles, and executing system deployments under controlled environments is required.

## What we're looking for

Degree in Computer Science, IT or related disciplines.

Minimum 5 years of work experience in corporate systems development and support.

Experience in cloud-based solutions and knowledge in HR business domain will be a strong advantage. Experience in managing applications running on Red Hat / Windows Server OS environments, and SQL Server / Postgre. SQL databases is expected. A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, technology risk management, and system integration methods is required.

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage. You should be able to work independently under governance driven processes and handle multiple priorities effectively. High attention to detail with strong sense of integrity, plus strong communication, analytical, and vendor management skills are also important.
