JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer III - Robotics & Automation
LOCATION: Seattle, WA
PAY RANGE: $66 - $76/hr.

SKILLS:
- Strong experience designing and developing control systems, including PLC/HMI applications and integrating devices like drives, sensors, and barcode readers.
- Proficiency in multiple IEC 61131-3 programming languages for industrial automation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and manage industrial networks such as Ethercat, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Profinet.
The successful engineer in this role will:
- Understand how complex robotics workcells operate, including an understanding of servo drives, industrial networks, safety systems, and integration with host systems.
- Have experience developing and deploying robotics workcells, including commissioning best practices and troubleshooting methodologies for complex integrated systems.
- Own the development of systems and features to improve system throughput, availability, quality, and improve deployment speed and efficacy.
- Own documentation of the system for the immediate team, as well as partner commissioning and support teams.
- Have experience developing and evaluating metrics to judge the performance of machines and systems.
- Have experience with software development for control systems.
Must Have Hard
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of & experience developing control systems, including developing PLC and HMI applications and integrating components like drives, barcode readers, and remote sensors.
- Proficiency in multiple IEC 61131-3 languages.
- Understanding of basic network troubleshooting, including industrial networks like Ethercat, Ethernet/IP, Profibus/Profinet, etc.
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of C, C++ or Java.
- Understanding of AWS technologies
- Experience deploying or managing machines in large-scale, geographically diverse environments.

Education:
- 5-7 Years of Experience
- Bachelor's in engineering
