Title:
Tax Associate - Global Investment & Innovation Incentives (Gi3)
Job Description
- Provide incentives and R&D tax advisory services to a portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries.
- Participation in client meetings, including engaging with C-suite executives on their investment plans and R&D/innovation activities.
- Be involved in the evaluation, preparation, application, negotiation and management of government incentives
- Liaise with government authorities on incentives application and R&D tax matters.
- Active participation in client meetings to obtain details from technical specialists of R&D projects undertaken.
- Preparation of R&D reports articulating the nature and progress of R&D activities undertaken, including how and why these meet the R&D tax eligibility requirements.
- Collection, collation and review of documentation and expenditure that substantiates R&D activities by matching the facts to the eligibility requirements of Singapore’s R&D tax incentive program.
- Support business development and marketing activities for the service line.

About Your Experience
- Possess tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Engineering, Science, IT or similar.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in Singapore economic agencies or incentives/grants applications will be viewed favourably.
- Analytical mind, meticulous skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Keen interest in developing in the tax industry in a professional services firm.
