Job Description

Talent Acquisition Specialist (Manufacturing & Engineering Focus)

We’re partnering with an innovative organization in the advanced energy and electrification space to find a Talent Acquisition Specialist who understands the pace, complexity, and nuance of hiring in manufacturing and engineering environments. This is an opportunity to work closely with technical leaders and play a meaningful role in building high-impact teams.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll own full-cycle recruitment for a range of positions across engineering, manufacturing, and operations. You’ll be expected to move beyond transactional recruiting, developing a strong understanding of technical roles, workforce planning needs, and the competitive talent landscape within industrial and clean technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for engineering, manufacturing, and technical roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring strategies, and timelines
  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates across specialized talent pools
  • Source candidates through a mix of direct outreach, networking, and market research
  • Screen and assess candidates for both technical alignment and cultural fit
  • Provide market insights on talent availability, compensation trends, and hiring challenges
  • Ensure a structured, efficient, and positive candidate experience throughout the process

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, or other technical roles is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with industrial, energy, or hardware-focused environments is an asset
  • Ability to understand and speak to technical roles (e.g., mechanical, electrical, systems, or production)
  • Strong sourcing capability and comfort with proactive outreach
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

Why This Role

This position offers the chance to step into a growing, technically driven environment where talent is a critical part of business success. You’ll gain exposure to complex roles, collaborate with experienced technical teams, and further develop your expertise in a high-demand niche.

If you have experience recruiting in manufacturing or engineering environments and are looking to deepen your impact in a specialized space, this could be a strong next step.
