About the position
The Taxable Fixed Income Portfolio Manager will be responsible for managing investment-grade bond portfolios for high-net-worth clients, with a focus on short to intermediate duration strategies. This individual will play a key role in delivering consistent, risk-adjusted returns while aligning portfolios with client objectives. This role requires strong credit analysis capabilities, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently within a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage taxable investment-grade bond portfolios across short to intermediate durations
- Perform fundamental credit analysis and ongoing monitoring of issuers and sectors
- Construct and maintain portfolios aligned with client objectives, risk tolerance, and income needs
- Evaluate relative value opportunities across the fixed income universe
- Monitor market conditions, interest rate trends, and economic developments
- Collaborate with internal teams to support client portfolios and reporting
- Participate in select client discussions as needed
Requirements
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in taxable fixed income
- 3-5 years of taxable, investment grade, portfolio management experience
- Strong credit analysis skills
- Experience working with high-net-worth client portfolios preferred
- CFA designation or Master’s degree preferred
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound investment judgment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
