Tech investment banking Analyst/Associate role - NY/SF

We’re working with a leading global middle market investment bank’s Tech team spread across New York and San Francisco. The team is looking to add an Analyst and an Associate in San Francisco, as well as an Associate in New York. The platform has grown massively over the last couple of years and is experiencing very good deal flow across M&A as well as capital markets. The sub-sectors within Tech that the team covers are software, internet, hardware, tech-enabled services, and industrial tech. The Analyst and Associates joining would get great exposure to all 5 sub-sectors across product groups with some lean towards M&A.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execution of M&A transactions, including financial modelling and valuation

• Preparation of client materials (pitchbooks, CIMs, board presentations)

• Managing diligence processes and coordinating with clients and counterparties

• Mentoring Analysts ( for Associates)

Qualifications:

• 1–5 years of experience in investment banking or M&A advisory

• Tech sector experience is a benefit

• Strong technical skillset (LBO, DCF, merger models)

• Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
