Tech Risk Analyst - Bank / Insurance

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining information security strategies, policies and guidelines
• Provide security guidance and support to business and technical teams
• Participate in risk assessment reviews for new and existing IT initiatives by evaluating security architecture and conducting basic threat modelling.
• Support cybersecurity controls assessment and help troubleshoot security issues across different technologies.
• Conduct research on emerging security threats and technology trends, including AI, cloud, big data and mobile

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
• 1-3 years' experience in information technology, information security, risk management, compliance or IT audit
• Experience in banking or the financial industry is highly preferred.
• Possession of or willingness to pursue professional certifications (e.g., CISA)
• Basic understanding of security architecture, regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practices
• Good analytical, communication and report‑writing skills, with a strong desire to learn and grow in cybersecurity
