Our client is a large scales MNC banking, they are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join their team to work in the local eTrading IT team.
Responsibilities
Requirement gathering & clarification
- lead discovery workshops, interviews and “as-is” walk-throughs with traders, risk managers, compliance
- translate business language into precise, testable functional specifications and data-flow requirements resolve ambiguities, identify gaps, and negotiate trade-offs with business and IT teams
Specification & visual documentation
- Produce clear, standards-based artefacts (diagrams, flowcharts, wireframes, sequence diagrams, decision tables)
- Maintain a living requirements repository in Confluence/Jira accessible to all stakeholders
- Ensure all artefacts are version-controlled and traceable to downstream test cases
Stakeholder coordination & communication
- Organise and facilitate regular progress meetings (sprint reviews, ad-hoc demos)
- Deliver concise status dashboards, risk logs and change-impact assessments
- Capture continuous user feedback and feed it back into the product backlog
- Liaise with transversal IT, Compliance and Infrastructure teams when solutions require transversal effort
- Drive RACI matrices, escalation paths, and joint-team action items to keep delivery on track
Testing & quality assurance
- Translate requirements into acceptance criteria and detailed test scenarios
- Coordinate functional, regression and UAT test cycles; act as the primary point-of-contact for traders during testing
- Track defect resolution, verify fixes, and certify that release meet the agreed-upon quality thresholds before production hand-over
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Good knowledge of listed derivative products
- University degree with major in Computer Science, Information systems, Finance, Business or a related field
- Strong background in trading or capital-markets environment (order-management, execution, market risk, compliance, post-trade)
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting complex functional requirements for software development (Agile/Scrum experience a plus)
- Hands-on with diagramming tools, ability to produce clear work charts and flow diagrams
- Experience writing acceptance criteria, organizing UATs and demos, and structuring go-live plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communications, adept at translating trading jargon into technical specifications and vice versa
- Track record of coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing stakeholder expectations
