Financial Analyst – Business Intelligence & Data Analytics

Salary range: $100,000 – $120,000, depending on experience

This Financial Analyst position is designed for someone who enjoys blending financial analysis with data visualization and business intelligence. As a Financial Analyst, you will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to turn complex datasets into actionable insights, with a strong emphasis on Power BI and Tableau. This Financial Analyst role is highly visible and plays a key part in modernizing reporting through Power BI to drive better business decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing

Build & Own BI Reporting (Power BI / Tableau Focus)

• As a Financial Analyst, design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau
• Develop scalable, automated reporting solutions within Power BI to support real-time financial and operational decisions
• Create intuitive visualizations that clearly communicate performance to leadership using Power BI
• Establish and standardize KPIs and metrics across the business through Power BI dashboards

Drive Financial Analysis & Planning

• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and performance drivers in your role as a Financial Analyst
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling with a data-driven approach
• Perform variance analysis and clearly communicate key drivers behind results to leadership
• Partner cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and leadership to align financial insights with business strategy

Improve Data & Reporting Processes

• As a Financial Analyst, identify opportunities to automate and enhance reporting workflows using Power BI
• Work with large, complex datasets across multiple systems (ERP, data warehouses, etc.)
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to improve data accuracy, structure, and accessibility
• Continuously enhance reporting capabilities and optimize Power BI dashboards for scalability and usability

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a data-focused FP&A role
• Hands-on experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
• Strong foundation in financial concepts (forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis)
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience with large datasets and Power Query
• Experience working across multiple systems (ERP systems, data warehouses, etc.)
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
