Major Duties
- To perform installation, operation, repair and maintenance of the equipment, laboratory kits, tools and facilities in laboratories, workshops, practice areas and any other training locations as required.
- To provide technical support and assist in demonstration for teaching and learning activities, including workshops / laboratories / practical training sessions / webinars / live streaming and online meetings.
- To assist in troubleshooting, acquisition, installation and inventory management of all equipment, hardware and software.
- To assist in the procurement and control of software licenses, consumables and equipment.
- To maintain the safety and tidiness of the laboratories / workshops.
Requirements
- A recognised diploma or higher certificate in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Good proficiency in both English and Chinese.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Mature, independent, self‑motivated and able to work in a team.
- Experience / knowledge / skills in one or more of the following area(s) would have an advantage:
- Automotive vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repair, including engine, transmission, braking and suspension systems.
- Electrical and electronic systems in vehicles, including sensors, actuators, CAN bus communication and automotive diagnostic tools.
- New Energy Vehicle (NEV) technologies, including battery systems, electric motors, inverters, and high‑voltage safety procedures.
- Operation and maintenance of automotive workshop equipment, such as vehicle lifts, wheel alignment machines, diagnostic scanners and testing instruments.
- Use of automotive diagnostic software and equipment (e.g. OBD scanners, oscilloscopes, multimeters and manufacturer diagnostic tools).

- Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
- Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend a trade test.

- The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned.
