Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior contributor on client engagements related to IT risk management, audit, and compliance.
- Perform and oversee advanced testing of IT controls across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
- Assess compliance with standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP, NIST, and cloud security best practices.
- Provide insights and recommendations to strengthen governance, controls, and risk management programs.
- Prepare and review deliverables including findings, reports, and client communications.
- Collaborate with engagement teams, contributing expertise to ensure project objectives are met.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex client challenges.
- Contribute to project coordination efforts including planning, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT Audit, IT Compliance, or Technology Risk Management.
- Strong working knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP, NIST).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and understanding of risk/compliance requirements preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of deliverables and contribute expertise within a team setting.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to apply judgment in complex scenarios.
- Prior consulting, professional services, or client-facing experience strongly preferred.
This client requires work 100% onsite in Seattle.
