Role Description

The Technology Specialist/Finance Analyst is a full-time on-site role based in New York, NY. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend technology expertise with financial acumen. The individual will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing retail technology systems, analyzing financial data, preparing reports, inventory control, and identifying cost-saving strategies. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, supporting inventory management systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Technical skills: Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, RFID knowledge and IT support
  • Analytical skills: Proficiency in financial analysis, budget management, and data interpretation
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities for team collaboration and reporting findings
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot technical and financial challenges effectively
  • Organizational skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in tools: Familiarity with Excel, accounting software, and other enterprise applications is a plus
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields is required
  • Previous retail or footwear industry experience is a plus
