As the Lead Ansible Automation Platform Engineer, you will:
- Be the technical lead and platform owner for Ansible Automation Platform, responsible for defining and maintaining enterprise reference architectures and best practices.
- Lead design reviews, provide technical guidance on automation initiatives, and resolve complex platform and integration issues.
- Architect and implement large-scale Ansible Automation Platform environments, leading from initial design to production rollout, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of AAP in production OpenShift environments, including managing execution environments and projects.
- Facilitate the adoption of automation across infrastructure, cloud, and security teams and mentor engineering teams on AAP best practices.
- Integrate security principles into platform architecture and workflows, collaborating with security teams to mitigate vulnerabilities and maintain compliance.
- Uphold KPMG's values of integrity and professionalism in all interactions and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- At least five years of hands-on experience in architecting and implementing Ansible Automation Platform in large enterprise settings.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated experience managing AAP on Red Hat OpenShift.
- Strong knowledge of Ansible including playbooks and roles, containerized automation, and OpenShift architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD and identity management integrations.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
