The Threat & Risk Analyst is responsible for researching and analyzing data to reduce threats and criminal risks to the institution.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in researching and analyzing data to help identify threats and reduce risk to the institution. This role requires collaboration with campus intervention teams, the ability to recognize trends, and flexibility to respond to emergency situations as needed.

EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred: Master's Degree Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice Management, Police Science, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration, or Public Health.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Five years experience in risk evaluation and analysis, threat assessments and analysis, law enforcement, general case investigations, behavioral intervention analysis, crisis management, security systems, or conflict resolution. With Master's degree, Three years experience in risk evaluation and analysis, threat assessments and analysis, law enforcement, general case investigations, behavioral intervention analysis, crisis management, security systems, or conflict resolution. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Required: TDL - Texas Drivers License Valid Class C Texas driver's license.
Preferred: Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) certification from the National Behavioral Intervention Team Association (NABITA), Certification in Crisis Intervention Negotiation, Certified Threat Manager from the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP).
