The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Tool Service Analyst to join our team in Seattle, Washington.

Successful candidates will assess testing requirements and verify customer requests, coordinate with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues and work with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards.

As a Tool Coordinator you will provide guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and other analysts, participate in the analysis and research of new technology to provide state-of-the-art cost-effective products and gather manufacturing and product information to develop and recommend solutions to manufacturing requirements.

In this role you will also investigate changes in manufacturing requirements and support emergent requests, analyze and oversee procurement processes for manufacturing tool products and services and work under limited supervision.

BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including an Associate or Mid-Level Tool Service Analyst.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate and procure production tools and flyaway and non-flyaway consumables equipment to support testing
  • Manage certified tools and tool-room processes, including ordering, replacement, inventory control, and re-certification
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to optimize testing support and supply chain responsiveness
  • Analyze usage and forecast demand

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
  • 1+ years of experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data, supporting product lifecycle development maintenance or production
  • 1+ years of experience in procurement, receiving, inventory and manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience managing the procurement process including coordinating with business partners and providing functional support
  • 1+ years of experience with inventory management information systems and their application
  • 1+ years of experience processing certified tools
  • 1+ years of experience in calibration, certification, transmission-rotor inspection, or tooling inspection

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experienced in certified-tool management and tool-room operations, including inventory control and recertification
  • Collaborative problem-solver with a track record of partnering with Manufacturing, Operations, and suppliers to resolve issues

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Associate: $55,250 - $74,750

Summary pay range Mid-Level: $ 65,450 - $88,550
