Job Description
- Deliver daily support for front office systems including order management, portfolio modeling, and compliance tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve trade booking, pricing, and market data integration issues.
- Collaborate with investment teams to ensure system reliability and performance during trading hours.
- Monitor and maintain interfaces with market data providers, execution platforms, and internal systems.
- Participate in system upgrades, patching, and configuration changes in coordination with vendors and internal teams.
- Support pre-trade compliance workflows, ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal policies.
- Document support procedures, known issues, and resolution steps for knowledge sharing.
- Assist in UAT and production deployments for new features and enhancements.
- Provide after-hours or weekend support during critical releases or market events.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience supporting front office systems in asset management, hedge funds, or investment banking.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX).
- Proficiency in SQL, scripting (Python, PowerShell), and troubleshooting APIs.
- Familiarity with order management systems (OMS) and execution management systems (EMS).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a high-pressure trading environment.
- Knowledge of FIX protocol, market data feeds, and trade lifecycle.
- Exposure to DevOps tools, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and ITIL practices.
- Cantonese/ Mandarin speaking is required
