Position: Trade Desk & Portfolio Manager

Firm: EA Buck Financial Services

Location: Denver Tech Center, CO

Overview: EA Buck Financial Services located in Denver Tech Center, CO is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trade Desk and Portfolio Manager to lead our trade operations and support the CIO in portfolio oversight. This individual will be based in our Denver office and play a critical role in both our private wealth management and 401(k) platform operations. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational excellence and is comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage the trade desk team, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all client trades
  • Maintain trading protocols and supervise compliance with trading policies and procedures
  • Oversee trade execution for discretionary and non-discretionary accounts across custodians (Fidelity, Schwab, etc.)
  • Coordinate model implementation across advisor and retirement plan platforms
  • Liaise with operations, advisors, and client service teams to ensure efficient and accurate trade settlements
  • Assist the CIO in preparing for quarterly Investment Committee meetings, including data gathering, agenda building, and performance summaries
  • Track and report portfolio and model performance, benchmarking against indices and peer strategies
  • Analyze rebalancing needs across models and coordinate execution of rebalancing trades
  • Monitor and evaluate investment model allocations, holdings, and drift relative to target weights
  • Research and evaluate fund manager changes, tactical allocation shifts, or model enhancements
  • Maintain all required licenses

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • CFA or progress toward designation preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a portfolio management, trade operations, or investment analyst role within an RIA, asset manager, or similar financial services firm
  • Proficiency with portfolio management systems (e.g., Orion, Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, Black Diamond) and trading platforms
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and custodians
  • Familiarity with both retail and retirement plan investment workflows is a plus
