Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Trader/Analyst, based in Carlsbad, CA. The Trader/Analyst will be responsible for executing trades, monitoring portfolios, and performing market research. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, generating reports, supporting client investment strategies, and collaborating with the advisory team to optimize portfolio performance. The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Experience with trade execution, portfolio monitoring, and financial analysis
• Strong skills in market research, data analysis, and reporting
• Proficiency in portfolio management tools, trading platforms, and financial software
• Comprehensive understanding of investment strategies, market trends, and asset allocation
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving capabilities
• At least 2 years of experience with a trading software such as Orion Eclipse, Black Diamond, iRebal or Envestnet
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field required
• Relevant certifications and licenses such as a series 65, 66, or CFA preferred
• Ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment and collaborate effectively in-person and remotely
