- Global Trade Execution
- Execute orders across major global markets with a focus on minimizing slippage, market impact, and transaction costs.
- Adjust execution styles dynamically to support strategies such as long/short equity, long‑biased equity, and relative‑value trades.
- Monitor intraday liquidity, volatility, and market microstructure across APAC, US, and Europe.
- Portfolio Manager Support
- Work directly with PMs to understand trade urgency, exposure adjustments, hedging needs, and risk considerations.
- Provide real‑time market color, flow insights, and identify potential execution risks.
- Market Awareness & Research Integration
- Maintain high awareness of global trading conditions, news catalysts, sector movements, and global macro events.
- Support investment teams applying GARP and sector‑rotation frameworks by providing execution insights that align with the firm's research‑driven philosophy.
- Broker & Venue Management
- Manage relationships with global brokers, algo providers, and execution platforms.
- Conduct periodic broker review to analyze execution quality, cost efficiency, and market access capabilities.
- Recommend enhancements to improve fill quality and reduce slippage.
- Operations, Compliance & Risk Control
- Ensure all trades adhere to regulatory standards and internal compliance guidelines.
- Maintain accurate trade records and assist in post‑trade reconciliation.
- Monitor and manage execution‑related risks, including exposure limits and compliance checks.
- Process & Infrastructure Enhancement
- Collaborate with technology teams to refine trading workflows, improve automation, and enhance execution tools.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and continuous improvement in trading processes.
- Profile
- 3-5 years of equity execution trading experience at a top tier Buyside Investment Management company
- Strong understanding of global equity microstructure across APAC, US, and European markets.
- Experience supporting long/short or long‑biased investment strategies is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency with trading systems such as Bloomberg EMSX, FlexTrade, Triton, or Portware.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work closely with PMs and analysts.
- Highlydetail‑oriented, disciplined, and able to multitask under pressure.
- Fluency in English; Mandarin strongly preferred for coordination with mainland investment teams.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
