Responsibilities:
- Consolidate and analyze business needs to understand their requirements with stakeholders.
- Design application software and develop functional and technical specifications.
- Ensure the development align with bank standards and guidelines.
- Ensure the software development progress is in accordance to the schedule with good quality
- Evaluate software packages.
- Conduct installation, testing, maintenance of computer programs.
- Provide technical support to maintain the smooth 24 hours round the clock operation (including Disaster Recovery Site support) within the bank.
- Manage vendor relationships effectively to ensure the timely delivery of products and services
- Identify root causes of issues and drive effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Maintaining production system stability to ensure uninterrupted operations and high performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or above in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant disciplines
- Over 6 years of relevant working experience, preferably in banking or financial service industry
- Strong logical thinking, attention to details, well organized and solution oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills and think out of the box.
- Hand-on experience in Java, C# and Linux scripting
- Proficiency in relational databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server etc)
- Experience in vendor management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Exposure on Trade Finance business is advantages.
