Job Title: Trading Support Analyst

Role Overview
We are seeking a Trading Support Analyst with strong expertise in brokerage operations and OMS based trading environments. The role focuses on supporting front office trading activities, ensuring smooth trade lifecycle processing, and resolving operational issues in a fast paced trading floor environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with traders, handling high volume transactions, and maintaining accuracy across trade processing, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide functional support in brokerage and OMS based trading environments.
Monitor the complete trade lifecycle from execution through settlement.
Perform daily trade reconciliations across internal systems, clearing firms, and custodians.
Identify and resolve trade breaks and settlement issues in a timely manner.
Act as the primary point of contact for traders, clients, and internal stakeholders for issue resolution.
Analyze operational risks and perform root cause analysis to implement improvements.
Prepare and validate daily and weekly trading reports and performance metrics.
Support system testing and assist in implementing technology enhancements.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure smooth trading operations.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
5–8 years of experience in trading support, brokerage operations, or front office environments.
Experience working on trading floors or in high pressure financial environments.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of OMS based trading systems.
Knowledge of trade lifecycle processes including execution, clearing, and settlement.
Experience in trade reconciliation and break resolution.
Understanding of financial instruments including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
Experience with reporting and trading metrics analysis.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced trading environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with front office traders and brokerage systems.
Familiarity with clearing firms, custodians, and financial market operations.
Experience supporting system testing and trading platform enhancements.
