About the Position

We are looking to hire an experienced Travel Manager to lead and grow our UK travel programme. In this role, you’ll work with a number of teams across Jane Street to provide exceptional travel experiences for our colleagues and candidates. Our travel operations have many moving parts, and this role is a chance to bring fresh ideas, drive innovation and evolve our travel programme as we scale. Your focus will be on:

Developing and executing travel strategy for the UK region, partnering with global teams to ensure alignment while addressing local market nuances

Managing vendor relationships and negotiations with travel suppliers

Overseeing day-to-day travel operations, including bookings and expense processing

Leading process improvement initiatives

About You

Have 7+ years of relevant experience in corporate travel management 

A strategic thinker who can balance big-picture vision with operational excellence

A reliable, courteous and flexible team player with a great customer service attitude

Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and navigating change

Able to multitask and prioritise varying, sometimes competing requests 

Organised and detail-oriented 

Comfortable working independently, making decisions quickly and taking initiative to close the loop on outstanding issues

Experienced with managing or mentoring others, or highly motivated to grow into a people-management role

Able to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings and evening hours to handle urgent travel needs

Experienced with Google Workspace, Excel and travel management platforms

Experienced with expense management systems (Workday or similar) and corporate card programmes (a plus but not required)

Experienced with Jira or similar systems (a plus but not required)

Fluent in English
