Traveling Taskforce Maintenance Technician / Chief Engineer

We are currently seeking experienced Traveling Maintenance Technicians / Taskforce Chief Engineers to lead and perform essential maintenance and engineering operations at our hotels. This is a key role that ensures guest and employee safety, comfort, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Maintenance Operations

• Perform repairs and upkeep of hotel interiors/exteriors, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and water treatment systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs and ensure all tools and equipment are operational.
• Manage renovations, coordinate with contractors, and oversee timelines and budgets.

Guest Experience

• Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain a safe and secure environment for all hotel occupants.

Team & Department Leadership

• Organize work schedules, train staff, and foster communication with other departments to support smooth operations.

Financial & Inventory Management

• Monitor budgets, control expenses, and manage tools and supplies efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
• Preferred certifications: Level 3 EPA, HVAC certification, or licensed plumber/journeyman electrician.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks and flexibility to work varied shifts.
• At least 4 years of building maintenance or construction experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Hotel maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Transcendent Software preferred but not required

Additional Information:

This position may involve travel. For out-of-town assignments, room and board will be provided. You may be placed in full-service or extended-stay hotels, including those with unique maintenance needs due to age or structure.
