Process Engineer / Quality Systems Coordinator

Position Summary
is seeking a Process Engineer / Quality Systems Coordinator to support engineering and quality activities for manufactured components. This role will help review processes, support projects, and manage quality system activities such as NCRs, corrective actions, and process tracking within the company’s quality management system.
The position will work closely with engineering, quality, production, purchasing, and other departments to help keep processes organized, updated, and moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and support manufacturing and operational processes.
- Assist with projects related to process improvement and workflow organization.
- Help maintain process documents, work instructions, and related engineering procedures.
- Manage and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on action items.
- Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Maintain and update activities in the company’s quality management software, including NCRs, process steps, and engineering/manufacturing workflow content.
- Review the Galperti Engineering Manufacturing tracker to ensure steps such as PO review, routing/BOM, raw material purchase, manufacturing, and quality activities are properly updated.
- Help analyze process and quality information to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
- Work with multiple departments to resolve issues and support daily operations.
- Support internal audits, process reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, quality, or process-related work preferred.
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with process documentation, quality systems, or manufacturing workflows is a plus.
- Comfortable using software systems to manage and track activities.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow through on tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Background
- Exposure to manufacturing, machining, forging, heat treatment, or similar industrial operations.
- Experience with NCRs, corrective actions, or process tracking is helpful.
- Able to support both day-to-day activities and improvement projects.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
