Job Title: SCADA Developer

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (Onsite)

Schedule: 9/80 (Every other Friday off)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled SCADA Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing SCADA systems for real-time data acquisition, monitoring, and control - with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.

This is a great opportunity for developers with strong Python and SQL skills, a background in SCADA systems, and ideally, experience in the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy SCADA solutions (preferably using Ignition SCADA)
• Write and maintain clean, scalable code using Python
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and database structures for system efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand process control requirements
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and support
• Assist in the integration of field equipment, PLCs, and sensors with SCADA platforms
• Maintain documentation and system change logs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience working with SCADA systems (Ignition experience is a strong plus)
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Strong command of SQL and relational databases
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the Oil & Gas or energy sector
• Familiarity with industrial protocols and data acquisition tools
• Hands-on experience integrating SCADA with other control systems (PLCs, HMIs)
