Factor, a brand of HelloFresh is seeking a Labor Planning Analyst. The Labor Planning team plays a central role in maintaining capacity for Operations and delivering for our customers in a high-growth environment. Our team is responsible for generating the hiring plans for all U.S. distribution centers. We are looking for leaders with strong analytical and technical skills who can partner effectively with leaders across functions to drive planning accuracy.

Hybrid Day Shift:  flexible to work Sunday-Thursday and Tuesday - Saturday  

Job Responsibilities 

Work alongside other members of the Planning team to validate labor plans and improve overall accuracy

Support all labor management functions by driving enhancements in headcount planning, attrition curves, scheduling, and cohort balancing based on data. 

Track progress to and deviations from the plan, assist with problem-solving and root cause analysis 

Serve as a technical liaison between Planning and Data/Engineering teams to translate business requirements, resolve escalations and contribute to the continuous improvement of tools and processes 

Own short-term labor planning to ensure operational sites are set up for success with staffing needs, optimizing for cost and experience. 

Key Characteristics/Skills

Advanced Spreadsheet Skills (Excel/Google Sheets): ability to conduct deep dive analysis and complex troubleshooting.

Data Querying & Manipulation (SQL): essential for pulling labor planning data and comparing performance against assumptions.

Data Visualization & Reporting (Tableau): required to develop performance scorecards and build reports.

Statistical Analysis & Forecasting: ability to understand forecasting and statistical concepts and models (exponential smoothing, variance, MAPE/RMSE, confidence intervals, etc.)

Unstructured Data Analysis & Workflow Automation: ability to use Gemini or similar AI tools to summarize information via structured prompts, build mechanisms for data comparison, and integrate data sources. 

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree - Engineering, Mathematics, or Business/ Supply Chain preferred

Experience in roles that require driving operational efficiency and influencing stakeholders using data interpretation

Advanced data analysis and tool development experience using Google Sheets and/or MS Excel 

Proficiency in Google App Scripts, SQL and Tableau

Proficiency in Snowflake or similar platforms 

Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment required

Experience with project management tools

Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
