About the role

Original posting from HelloFresh

Associate Director, Manufacturing Value Stream

As an Associate Director on the Global Value Stream team, you will serve as a senior subject matter expert and global point of contact for one or more operational process verticals within the Manufacturing vertical of HelloFresh's global supply chain. You will own the full lifecycle of your capability domain — from process design and technology alignment through to global deployment and continuous improvement. This role requires a blend of deep operational expertise, structured strategic thinking, and strong cross-functional leadership.

You will...

Develop the foundational "to-be" end-to-end process design and global template for one or more operational verticals (e.g., sub-component assembly, final assembly), ensuring harmonization and alignment across all international markets.

Collaborate with and influence operational leaders across the organization to drive consensus and adoption of standardized global processes.

Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate the global process design into a clear technology strategy, supporting the prioritization of development roadmaps in line with a Global-First design philosophy.

Support the establishment of operational governance and deviation control by providing domain expertise and influencing the process for managing market-specific exceptions.

Perform cross-market maturity assessments and apply structured problem-solving to identify and close performance gaps, utilizing a standardized, global approach.

Track and analyze capability-level KPIs and performance benchmarks, collaborating with Finance and Analytics to quantify the business impact of standardization and global harmonization initiatives.

Engage and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—including regional, product, and technology teams—to ensure process definitions and priorities support the global value stream mission and end-customer experience.

Support the team's contribution to company strategy and department OKRs, ensuring consistent execution and reporting within your capability domain.

You have...

8–12 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or fulfillment, including multi-site or multi-country exposure.

Proven expertise in at least one supply chain functional domain and a strong working knowledge of adjacent areas.

Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, including performance management and talent development.

Deep familiarity with WMS, WES, WCS, and broader operational technology ecosystems; experience integrating automation a strong plus.

Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment and adoption of global process standards at scale.

Track record of leading process transformation or major capability rollouts from design through to sustained operation.

Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Experience with lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement frameworks.

Ability to travel up to 25%

You are...

A systems-level thinker who can simultaneously hold the strategic vision and the operational detail.

A natural leader who develops talent, builds accountability, and creates a team culture others want to be part of.

Decisive and clear-headed, with the confidence to make calls in ambiguous situations and the humility to course-correct.

A strong cross-functional collaborator who builds trust and influence at all levels — from warehouse operators to senior executives.

Motivated by building scalable, durable solutions rather than one-off fixes.

Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple verticals, stakeholders, and global time zones concurrently.

What you'll get in return...

The opportunity to shape global operations at a leading food technology company with significant reach and impact.

A high-ownership, low-bureaucracy environment where your work is visible and your decisions matter.

An egoless, collaborative culture focused on learning, growth, and building something exceptional together.

You’ll get…

Competitive hourly rate, 401K company match that vests immediately upon participation, & team bonus opportunities

Generous PTO and flexible attendance policy

Comprehensive health and wellness benefits with options at $0 monthly, effective first day of employment

Up to 85% discount on subscriptions to HelloFresh meal plans (HelloFresh, Green Chef, Everyplate, and Factor_)

Access to Employee Resource Groups that are open to all employees, including those pertaining to BIPOC, women, veterans, parents, and LGBTQ+

Inclusive, collaborative, and dynamic work environment within a fast-paced, mission-driven company that is disrupting the traditional food supply chain

This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities. However, the Company reserves the right to adjust, modify, or reassign work tasks and responsibilities as needed to meet changing business needs, operational requirements, or other factors.
