Our client is a fast-growing electrical vehicle company in Hong Kong. Due to their rapid expansion, they are looking for a bright Vehicle Engineer to join their Hong Kong office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical engineering support to Sales and After-sales teams, focusing on technical feasibility analysis for customization projects and complex issue resolution.
- Perform routine maintenance on various commercial vehicles and electric vehicles.
- Identify gaps between customer expectation and practical design, and propose feasible solutions.
- Act as the key contact person with the R&D teams to resolve technical issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle faults and ensure operational safety standards are met.
- Maintain detailed engineering logs, fault reports, and debugging records for continuous product improvement.
- Provide on-site technical support for vehicle homologation, SKD assembly projects, and client fleet operations.
- Overseas training and business travel will be provided.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree holder in Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent.
- At least 2 years’ experience in automotive engineering, preferably with a strong focus on commercial vehicle systems and latest technologies.
- Holder of an ordinary certificate and completion of a full craft or technician apprenticeship in mechanical or vehicle engineering will be an advantage.
- Valid driving license for commercial vehicle is a plus.
- Proactive, responsible, and a team player. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of working independently in challenging field environments.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is required.
- Proficient with PC skills such as Microsoft Office.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Technician or Assistant Engineer.
