Venture Analyst Investment Associate Position
Our client is seeking a passionate and self-motivated individual to join a growing investment team. The team focuses on investments in AI-enabled infrastructure, data platforms, workflow automation, digital risk models, and next-generation systems that modernize care delivery, underwriting, claims, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
- Source potential investment opportunities
- Perform financial modeling and analysis of growth and venture-stage companies
- Conduct investment due diligence on companies at all stages and support investment committee presentations
- Record all deal information for reporting and trend analysis
- Research and report on industry trends and potential new business models
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key industry contacts, including limited partners
- Assist in all aspects of portfolio company management, including exposure to roles on portfolio company boards
Experience
- Experience in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or a related field
- Experience with financial modeling and analysis
- Familiarity with SaaS economics (ARR, NRR, CAC/LTV)
- Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and data infrastructure
- Familiarity with healthcare and insurance regulatory environments a plus
- Ability to assess product defensibility and technical architecture
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and network within healthcare, insurance, and venture capital communities
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to ask challenging questions within complex domains, including comfort with technical due diligence
- Track record of strong judgment and ability to navigate ambiguity
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
General
- This role is based in Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; or Palo Alto, CA, with occasional travel.
Compensation for this role has a long-term outlook and philosophy. Base salary range is $100,000 – $130,000, commensurate with experience. The position is eligible for discretionary bonuses based on individual, team, and company performance.
