Responsibilities
- Be one of the quantitative analysts of Investment Products & Advisory Department
- Develop, test, and implement complex mathematical models and algorithms to evaluate investment product performance and risk for derivatives and structured products of the bank with the existing available system and tool and ensure all models and processes align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Use quantitative techniques to optimize asset allocation strategies and enhance product performance.
- Adopt VBA, Python, AI model to develop tools for investment generations, selections and distribution.
- Deliver quality solution and adoption to stakeholders and work with vendors
- Apply optimization models to improve the efficiency of investment-related processes across the department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and develop tools that support decision-making and operational excellence
- Develop statistical and AI-based models to support the offering of various investment products
Requirements
- University graduate with quantitative finance degree or related disciplines
- Minimum of 4 years’ relevant working experience
- Experience in risk consulting and valuation would be an advantage
- Familiar with treasury products, derivative products and structured products
- Familiar with Python, VBA and the use of AI LLM
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, Putonghua a plus
