Vice President – Risk Management; Private Markets Risk

Position: Vice President – Risk Management (Private Markets Risk)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead risk management for the institution across financial risk, operational risk and capital risk.
• Lead risk oversight across financial services, products, funds, capital and liquidity management, business continuity planning, regulatory risk and compliance.
• Risk Reporting for ICAAP and preparing risk dashboards for governance bodies, including the board risk committee and fiduciary committee.
• Oversee the consolidation and recommend the departmental budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget.
• Supervise third-party/vendor risk management and cyber resilience assessments.

Key Requirements:

• 10 – 12 years’ experience within a buy side institution across financial and non-financial risk.
• In depth experience to private markets investment management.
• A deep familiarity to a regulatory environment such as DIFC or ADGM.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in financial, Economics, Risk or related field.
• CFA or FRM are highly advantageous.
