VP/AVP, Data Scientist, Group Audit | Singapore, SG

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business auditors to understand their analytics requirements, and work with our LOBT to design data analytics solutions to address those needs, including rule based analytics, traditional AI/ML and GenAI/Agentic

• Support the full lifecycle activities, including requirement gathering, development, deployment and post-deployment monitoring.

• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional/location teams to drive analytics and tools adoption

• Participate in building and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders, communicate analytical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering understanding and adoption

• Ensure adherence to internal policies/standards and regulatory requirements. Requirement

• Master/Bachelor in Computer Science, Business Analytics or other related disciplines

• At least 7 years of experience in managing and delivering data analytics projects

• Experience in developing AI/ML and/or GenAI solutions

• Experience with data engineering using Python / SQL / Spark / Pandas

• Experience with Tableau for dashboard development

• Knowledge of banking industry and internal audit function is a plus

• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

• Good communication and presentation skills
