Job Overview:

LPL Financial is seeking a VP, Cross‑Functional Capability Lead to drive end‑to‑end Wealth Management (WM) capabilities across multiple Systems of Record, including Accounts, Positions, Clients, Participants, Party, Securities, and Pricing. This individual contributor role serves as a horizontal integrator across business, data, and technology teams—ensuring WM initiatives are designed and delivered with a data‑first, domain‑driven approach that improves consistency, quality, and scalability across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross‑domain analysis and coordination across WM domains including Accounts, Positions, Clients/Participants, Party, Securities, and Pricing
  • Maintain an enterprise‑level view of WM capabilities that is independent of specific applications or platforms
  • Map and analyze end‑to‑end data and process flows from origination through downstream consumption
  • Identify and document gaps, redundancies, and inconsistencies in data definitions, ownership, quality rules, and lineage
  • Partner with initiative leads to define data requirements, authoritative sources, and quality expectations early in delivery lifecycles
  • Apply domain‑driven design principles to clarify bounded contexts, domain ownership, and domain interfaces
  • Translate business capabilities into clear domain, data, and integration models
  • Partner with Data Owners and Stewards to define critical data elements and domain‑level quality rules
  • Monitor and escalate data quality issues that impact enterprise initiatives, reporting, or client experiences
  • Facilitate alignment across business, data, architecture, engineering, risk, compliance, and operations teams
  • Reduce fragmentation, duplication, and downstream integration risk across WM initiatives

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of professional experience in Wealth Management, Financial Services, or Capital Markets, including work across multiple Systems of Record and enterprise data domains
  • Demonstrated experience supporting account, position, client/participant, party, securities, and pricing data models within Wealth Management environments
  • 5+ years of experience applying enterprise data architecture concepts, including data modeling, lineage analysis, and data quality practices
  • Experience contributing to or supporting large‑scale enterprise initiatives involving multiple business, data, or technology teams
  • Demonstrated experience influencing cross‑functional stakeholders through analysis, documentation, and structured communication in complex environments

Preferences:

  • Experience with account and position lifecycle management within Wealth Management platforms
  • Experience working with client, participant, and party data models
  • Experience with securities and pricing data, including downstream reporting dependencies
  • Familiarity with regulatory and reporting data requirements in Wealth Management
  • Experience with enterprise data architectures and canonical data modeling

Pay Range:

$160,577.00 - $267,594.00

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
