This opportunity as VP, Data Analytics offers the chance to lead Business Intelligence initiatives by developing a vision and roadmap for automated reporting and advanced analytics. You will collaborate with technology and infrastructure teams, drive process improvement, and mentor high-performing teams as you transform data into strategic insights.

In this role, you are expected to manage a broad portfolio of analytic and reporting solutions, build strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute technically when needed. Your expertise in data warehousing, ETL modernization, and dashboard design will be pivotal in shaping a best-in-class analytics environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Business Requests and Projects – Define and drive the vision, roadmap, and ROI for the Supervision Data Analytics & Reporting Program by uniting business objectives, product strategies, and stakeholder needs into actionable strategies.
  • Business Understanding – Foster positive relationships with business partners, translate problem statements into system requirements, and act as a subject matter expert on user stories and technical acceptance criteria.
  • Team Leadership – Mentor and lead analysts in developing best-in-class analytic solutions, ensuring both functional and sustainable outcomes for various reporting and analytics projects.
  • Data Understanding – Collaborate with stakeholders to identify relevant data sources, communicate data quality and limitations, and work with technology partners to develop accurate data sets.
  • Data Preparation – Modernize and enhance existing ETL processes by migrating them to a resilient enterprise solution in collaboration with development teams and stakeholders.
  • Deploy – Guide analysts through quality data sourcing, robust testing, and documentation while ensuring business unit approval and identifying opportunities for future enhancements.
  • Continuous Improvement – Lead initiatives in evaluating and integrating new technology tools, developing strategic product roadmaps, and establishing governance models for optimal user experiences.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Actuarial Sciences or a related quantitative field plus 10+ years of experience, or a Master’s Degree with 9+ years of experience.
  • 10+ years of experience developing analytic solutions, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • 3+ years of experience leveraging Tableau to deliver automated reporting.
  • 1+ year of experience in developing reporting solutions built on a data warehouse.
  • Technical proficiency in at least one data analytic language (e.g., SQL, SAS).
