Kennedy Jenks is excited to welcome a Water Treatment Process Engineer to our team to tackle projects related to drinking water treatment, water reuse, and advanced water purification. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise in municipal drinking water treatment, water reuse, and advanced purification processes, including evaluating methodologies, selecting suitable techniques, conducting engineering studies, and optimizing operations.
  • Support project teams and client service managers in project pursuits, meetings, and technical discussions.
  • Engage in feasibility studies, facility planning, and pilot testing for water treatment projects.
  • Produce essential technical deliverables such as basis of design reports, engineering drawings, specifications, process flow diagrams, and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Assess and enhance the operations of existing water treatment facilities.
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as appropriate, and collaborate with senior engineers on innovative technical solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience focused on drinking water treatment engineering, including process design, system optimization, and operational evaluation.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license; PE preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams and effective client communication.

Kennedy Jenks supports a healthy work-life balance and utilizes a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of two days per week in the office. This approach fosters collaboration and empowers our team to thrive and reach their full potential.

Salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $120,000 and $210,000, varying based on education, experience, qualifications, licensure, and geographic location.

This position is eligible for performance and incentive compensation.
