Job Description

Salary is 140k to 155k + bonus

We are seeking a Windows Operations Engineer to join our infrastructure team and help modernize, automate, and optimize enterprise Windows environments. This role will focus on maintaining and improving core Windows systems while driving large-scale upgrades, migrations, and operational efficiencies across a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain Windows Server environments, including upgrades and lifecycle management (Windows Server 2016 2025 migrations)
  • Administer and support core enterprise services including Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365
  • Participate in Active Directory migration and consolidation initiatives
  • Manage and execute enterprise patching strategies across Windows systems
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Support legacy technology replacement and infrastructure modernization initiatives
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and Windows Ops teams to improve system reliability and performance
  • Leverage scripting and automation (Python preferred) to build tools, workflows, and operational improvements
  • Explore and implement AI-enabled tools to enhance monitoring, automation, and operational insights

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience supporting Windows Server environments in enterprise settings
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and Exchange
  • Experience with patch management and Windows lifecycle operations
  • Exposure to Active Directory migrations and infrastructure modernization projects
  • Familiarity with legacy system replacement and enterprise migration efforts
  • Scripting or automation experience (Python preferred)
  • Understanding of infrastructure operations and enterprise IT environments

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in Windows Operations or Infrastructure Engineering teams
  • Exposure to AI tools or automation frameworks applied to IT operations
  • Experience improving operational efficiency through automation or process optimization
  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale migrations and modernization initiatives
